“Songs of the Spirit” By Aleister Crowley.

Mr. Crowley’s Songs of the Spirit show more genuine poetic fire. “The Violet’s Love Story” is charming in conception and execution alike. “A Rondel” is nearly as good. “The Philosopher’s Progress” is horrible, though we are not quite sure what it means.
