Sir,—I note that “Allister [sic] Crowley," whoever he may be, has published in the Pioneer the second of his valuable contributions on the subject of the Kinchenjunga expedition. From the tone of it, I judge him to be a disappointed candidate for membership of the Alpine Club to which I may add, I have not the privilege of belonging. The sport of mountaineering will certainly suffer no loss if Kinchenjunga permanently effaces this polished individual.
