WEST'S PICTURES.

“The Foreign Spy” is a most thrilling melodramatic sketch, illustrating a descent of alien troops upon our coasts. “Scenes from the Life Thomas A’Becket” is of fine photographic quality. “Palestine” and “Sweden” are excellent panoramic subjects, whilst a whole host of new comedy pictures complete a capital programme. During the week Miss Leila Waddell, the charming young Australian violiniste, has increased her circle of admirers, and she has gained here an artistic reputation which should serve her in good stead in her after career. Mr. Fred Hudson uses his powerful baritone voice with the utmost discrimination, and an ease which proclaim the cultured musician.
