MISS LEILA WADDELL

Who is appearing at West's Pictures.

The seventh week of the present season opened with a great change of programme. The two most prominent new films are of a very romantic character, “Longing for Gold” and “A Colonial Romance.” A remarkable reception was given to the charming Leila Waddell upon her second appearance here this season. This lady is claimed as Australia’s finest violiniste, and her renderings are worthy of any concert hall in this country. At the conclusion of her second item she was presented with a bouquet, amidst a furore of applause. Rodney Kinder is a young conjurer of great merit, and his tricks are original and neatly worked, whilst his patter is amusing and refined. T.W.K. has the knack of picking the exact turns to suit Bournemouth.
