NEWS IN A NUTSHELL.

Lord Salvesen yesterday, in the Scottish Court of Session, granted divorce to Rose Edith Kelly, or Crowley, from Alister Macgregor Crowley, of Boleskine, Foyers, Invernesshire. The suit was undefended. Count Skellet was the name the respondent had assumed at the time the petitioner met him. That was in 1902, and she was then a widow. At a later date he called himself Macgregor, and then Lord Boleskine. It was proved that defendant had “invented” a new religion. He was a Cabalist, and studied ancient manuscripts. Unfaithfulness was the reason of action being taken.
