LOCAL INTELLIGENCE.
Rose Edith Kelly or Skerrett or Crowley, residing at The Vicarage, Camberwell, London, was granted divorce in the Court of Session on Wednesday by Lord Salveson in her action against Alister Macgregor Crowley, formerly called Edward Alexander Crowley of Boleskine, Foyers, Inverness-shire. Pursuer was also granted custody of the child [Lola Zaza] with ailment at the rate of £1 per week. Parties were married on the occasion of a visit to Strathpaffer in 1903. The marriage took place in Scotch fashion at the request of the defender, the declaration having been made in the presence of parties in a solicitor’s office in Dingwall, and an order subsequently obtained in the Sheriff Court for registration of the same. The event at the time occasioned considerable interest in the community. |
