IRISH REPUBLIC IS ORGANIZED BY PARTY

NEW YORKERS WHO VISITED BEFORE ISLAND.

There is an Irish Republic. Make no mistake about that. This is not the vulnerable joke about America being ruled by the Sons of Erin. The fact is an expedition set out at dawn the other morning from Manhattan and glided down the Hudson to Bedloe’s Island. There under the shadow of the Statue of Liberty, Aleister Crowley organized and proclaimed the provisional government of the Irish Republic. This done the party went back to a Broadway restaurant for breakfast.
