FORTUNE TELLER FINED.
At Marlborough Street Police Court, London, yesterday, Mary Davies, aged 50, described as an authoress and preacher, 93, Regent Street, London, was fined 20 in each of two cases, and 10 guineas costs, charged with pretending to tell fortunes. At a previous hearing evidence was given that a society called the Order of the Temple of the Orient was carried on. |
