BOOKS REMOVED NOT COPIES OF ‘THE EQUINOX.’
The statement in The Free Press, Saturday, in reference to the removal of several hundred volumes described as “The Equinox” from the home of Albert W. Ryerson to the bookstore which he purchased from Homer Adair, 1726 Butternut street, was the result of a misunderstanding of testimony. The books in question were not volumes of “The Equinox,” but various copies which Mr. Ryerson placed on sale when he came into possession of Adair’s store. |
