MODEL'S ROMANCE ENDS IN DIVORCE COURT.

Detroit.—Maizie Mitchell Ryerson’s career proves that even in Detroit an artist’s model can have adventures that rival those of Greenwich Village of the Latin Quarter of Paris.

Maizie’s romance began when she left her Puritanical parents at 15. She was in Detroit, posing for artists, at 18. In a studio she met Albert W. Ryerson, 51, who took her to his apartment as his ward.

Then Ryerson proposed marriage. Maizie protested. They finally agreed to a trial 30-day trial marriage. The marriage took place. It lasted for 29 days.

Maizie, suing for divorce, tells of a strange love cult. Ryerson denies all her charges.
