Love Cult Bared In Divorce Suit.
Detroit has been shaken by the sensational developments in the divorce suit of Mrs. Mazie Ryerson, artists’ model and “Queen of the Chalet de Arts,” against Albert W. Ryerson, wealthy publisher. She swore she agreed to a trial marriage of 30 days, in which he vowed he would make her love him, or leave her. She left him in 29 days. On the stand she revealed the inner working of Ryerson’s famous “O.T.O.” love cult, involving hundreds of prominent Detroiters. |
