AUTHOR COMPLAINS OF CERTAIN PASSAGES.

MR. ALEISTER CROWLEY.

Certain passages in a book, “Laughing Torso,” were complained of by Mr. Edward Alexander Crowley, known as Aleister Crowley, when a motion brought by him asking for an injunction to restrain further publication of the book was postponed until October 5. The defendants, including Miss Lena [sic] Hamnett [Nina Hamnett], the author, undertook that no further copies would be issued in the meantime.
