CHINA’S COUNTER-ATTACK IN JEHOL.

 

 

Mr. Gerald Yorke, a correspondent in the Jehol war has been arrested by the Chinese military authorities at Miyunhzien, 50 miles from Pekin, while returning from the Jehol front. Mr. Yorke is being held in custody at a small Chinese inn. The charges against him are unknown. Mr. Gerald Yorke is the son of Mr. Vincent Wodehouse Yorke, J.P., of Tewkesbury (Gloucester).
