BRITISH CORRESPONDENT ARRESTED.

Peking, March 10.—

Mr. Gerald Yorke, Reuter’s correspondent, has been arrested by the Chinese military authorities at Miyun, 50 miles from Peking, while returning from the Jehol front. Mr. Yorke is being held in custody at a small Chinese inn. The charges against him are unknown.—Reuter.
