MR. CROWLEY’S APPEAL.
An appeal is being lodged on behalf of Mr. Aleister Crowley, the author, against the verdict against him in his recent action for alleged libel.
Mr. Crowley complained that in her book, “Laughing Torso,” Miss Nina Hamnett stated that he had had a temple at Cefalu in Sicily, where he was supposed to have practised “Black Magic.” |
