ALEISTER CROWLEY TO APPEAL

 

 

It is understood that an appeal is to be lodged on behalf of Mr. Aleister Crowley, the author, against the verdict for the defendants in his recent action for alleged libel contained in Miss Nina Hamnett's book “Laughing Torso.” The alleged libel was that Mr. Crowley had had a temple at Cefalu, in Sicily, where he was supposed to have practiced “black magic.”
