ALEISTER CROWLEY.

 

Author Arrested on Charge of Receiving.

 

 

Mr. Aleister Crowley, the author, who appeared in a recent High Court action, was arrested on a warrant yesterday and charged with receiving five letters, the property of Mrs. Sedgwick [Betty May].

     

After being charged, he was released on bail, and will appear at Marylebone Police Court, to-day.

     

Mr. Crowley was arrested by C.I.D. officers attached to Marylebone Lane.
