MR. CROWLEY COMMITTED FOR TRIAL.

Edward Alexander Crowley (58), of Upper Montagu Street, W., appeared on remand yesterday at Marylebone Police Court, charged with feloniously receiving five letters, the property of Betty Sedgwick [Betty May].

Mr. Gallop, for Mr. Crowley, said he wished it to be well understood that he had an absolute explanation.

It was intimated that Crowley pleaded not guilty and reserved his defence.

He was committed for trial at the Central Criminal Court, bail again being allowed in the sum of £10.
