Mr. Edward Alexander Crowley (Aleister Crowley, the author) to-day informed a reporter that he had signed notice of appeal against his Old Bailey conviction. Mr. Crowley was found guilty of receiving four original letters and one copy of a letter alleged to have been stolen from Mrs. Betty Sedgwick [Betty May], an artist's model.
