What Is Your Opinion?

Art Award.

Editor, The Sun: Sir,—I wish to voice my objection to the award of the Stone Medal of the Vancouver Art Gallery being made for a painting bearing the title “still life with Cassava Melon.”

If for no other reason, I raise this objection because of its title, which has been widely advertised in the press. There is a variety of melon called Cassaba (or Kassaba) after a place in Turkey. Cassava merely means Tapioca, as reference to any good dictionary will show.
