Correspondence from Aleister Crowley to Wilfred Merton
21 Warwick Road S.W.
ii - vi - ix [2 June 1909]
Dear Schmeichen [Wilfred Merton],
All you say is very true; but unless I get help from publishers of some sort (for the next few years at any rate) I must give up getting my poetry out.
If you knew the truth about me and my affairs of one sort and another, I believe you'd strain a point and help me through the struggle.
Well, I'll tell you more in May Week D.V.
Yours,
Aleister Crowley.
