Correspondence from Aleister Crowley to J.F.C. Fuller
Hotel du Petit Sahara Bou-Sada
Dec 5. 1909
Care Frater,
We leave on Tuesday next for Biskra, by the path of Gimel that is called Oont.
I cannot write or speak of the rapture and wonder of all that hath been revealed in the Aires XXVIII - XII, or of the Experience, or of the Attainment.
But if I can preserve the MSS. from prowling Jinn, you will be able to judge of the firsts of these.
In the sublime and soul-stirring words of Fra. Theodore Roosevelt, we have the Apocalypse beaten to a frazzle.
I shall hope to hear much from you at Biskra, and perhaps to be permitted to feast mine eyes upon that primaeval Chaos which Collinore proudly refers to as the Proofs of the Temple [The Temple of Solomon the King]. If you have a spare hotch-pot (Kelly) send it along.
I can't say quite when I shall be coming "home" you will probably want me. But please spare me as long as you can. This is the holiday-holyday of my whole life, and I don't want to hurry it, but to wait for a mystic intuition or Order to feed my sheep.
So you can send me a cheerful P.C. [post card] that you never want to see me again!
You won't see me in any case; and this is an Arcanum.
Fraternally
Hotel Royal Biskra on Dec 14 about, Will probably hang around there till Xmas or New Year but will write on arrival.
Capt. J.F.C. Fuller 89, Overstrand Mansions Battersea Park London. S.W.
