Correspondence from Elaine Simpson to Aleister Crowley

Dear Aleister,

My husband now looks upon you as a person to be avoided—and very much dislikes my writing to you, and vice versa—I tell you honestly, and because I am very fond of him, I must respect his wishes in this matter—therefore tis better that we write no more. When I am in London I will let you know, if you think it worthwhile we can meet and talk things over, if not, Care Frater, then let us bow before the Fate which always seems to have desired to part us.

I remain yours,

Fidelis
