Correspondence from Bullock and Co. to Broxholm and Williams
65, London, W.C.
26 Nov. 1910
Messrs. Broxholm and Williams.
Dear Sirs,
JONES v. LOOKING GLASS PUB. COMPANY and OTHERS.
We are in receipt of your letter of yesterday's date.
We have no desire to deal with any controversial matter, but we must say that in our opinion, your letter if anything, aggravates matters.
Having regard to the fact that it must be conceded that our client is the victim of as cruel and infamous a libel as could possible be published concerning any man, the nature of your proposals and the contents of your letter simply amaze us.
In these circumstances, we are issuing a writ and presume you will accept service.
Yours faithfully,
BULLOCK and Co.
