Correspondence from Aleister Crowley to Mrs. Loss

April 3 [1913]

Dear Mrs. Loss,

In reply to your letter of March 31st, I could only pay a salary of 5/- per week. This is about what he has been receiving up to the date of your letter. Yesterday, April 2nd I gave him 10/-. As you say in your letter that unless he receives a salary of 10/- per week "it will be impossible for him to stay on in London", I shall, of course, see to it that he will not continue longer than Saturday.

Yours truly.
