Correspondence from Aleister Crowley to Charles T. Jacobi [Chiswick Press]

28 April 1913

Dear Sir,

Please do not ask me silly questions. The order was sent out to Mr. Jackson April 8. I am not taking any stand as I know nothing; but at least I know the purpose of my being here is to attend strictly to the business end, which I am doing. I am not a feather-brain like Wieland [Eugene John Wieland]. In future spare me the annoyance of such questions. I am here to boost the business not to run it into the ground, as Mr. Wieland must have done. On the 1st May, I shall send you a written statement, when I think it will be quite obvious that the business has picked up and considerably.

Yours very truly.
