Dear Mother,

 

Thanks for your letter of the 30th. I enclose paragraphs which you can work up if they are not enthusiastic enough. I hope you are getting on with your French at Stockton too. I am simply crazy with hard work, having to get everything ready for No. 10 [of the Equinox], kind of hoping to get to Paris on Thursday, but I promise nothing.
