Correspondence from Aleister Crowley to Charles Stansfeld Jones

V.[ery] I.[llustrious] Sir Knight, and V.[ery] D.[ear] Brother,
Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.
Thanks for your note of 10th, with promise of paper.
"This is my body, which I destroy in order that it may be renewed." Perhaps what you have been thinking of as creation is destruction. How is Hiram to be raised again in incorruption?
How do you pass from labour to refreshment, and from that again to labour? It says refreshment, not repose.
Of course this has nothing to do with the actual problem. I only mention it as an example of how apparently trivial words may be the most important in a ritual.
I am in the deepest pit (I hope) of my Ordeal; forgive brevity.
Love is the Law, Love under Will.
Yours in the Bonds of the Order,
[eleven-fold Cross] Baphomet X° O.T.O
