Care Frater—

Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.

Wilfred Smith's [Wilfred Talbot Smith] examination paper is far from satisfactory in the ordinary sense of the word: He evidently requires somewhat elaborate intellectual training. However, he has devoted sufficient thought to the matter, to allow one to pass him. If my memory serves me right, you have already Probationer's Forms and the first volume of the Thelema books. If this be the case, you should send me $5. If not, write to Brother Cowie [George MacNie Cowie] for the form and book, enclosing him the $5.

Love is the Law, Love under Will.

Yours fraternally,

O.M. 7º=4o Act. Cancellarius
