Beloved Father,

Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.

It is a long time now since I had a line from you, and in spite of the fact that your last letter stated you were too rushed to write for the moment, I am beginning to wonder if all is well, or if perhaps a letter has gone astray.

May is now upon us, and there is a feeling that things are winding up preparatory to some considerable change in one direction or another. I very much want to hear of your plans, because until I do so I can do little in the way of taking any definite step.

I have a feeling that my time is nearly run as regards Vancouver, everything seems to point that way, yet it will need a very strenuous and desperate effort to get away, either alone or with the family, unless of course some unexpected means presents itself. I feel sure that something will be done and the way become clear soon, so please tell me if you have any definite move in mind, so that I may have a chance of deciding what is the right course of action this end.

There is little to report: the lectures are going along as arranged and the series is nearly at an end, no great stir has been made. The affairs of the various B[lessed] b[rethren] seem almost as undecided as my own. It is possible that within a month they may have mostly left the City. I hope at least three will be on a tour during which they will do something in the way of preaching the Law, but I am a little skeptical as to how much they will really do when it comes down to 'brass tacks.'

I had a very encouraging letter from Bro. Cowie [George MacNie Cowie]. London seems to be in excellent shape. His own health is evidently much improved I am glad to hear. I also noticed some interesting news in the papers the other day, that seemed to have something to do with O.H.O.

Love is the law, love under will.

Your devoted son,
