To Mega Therion Paris.
Beloved,
Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.
I am in receipt of your letter of Feb 2nd, posted from Naples. I suppose you are on the road to Paris.
I think on giving the matter due consideration that I prefer not to discuss it further at this time. For one thing, as you state, you say be familiar with the result and possibly of use to me in consequence, but on the other hand I would rather any further Light I need came from the same direct Source from which my present ideas were derived.
Your remarks about the "war-engine" confirm my own view of the possible meaning of Liber CCXX, I look upon the statement "And none shall stand before you" rather as a promise of the Presence of Nuit. In seeking for further confirmation of this last night the possible Cabalistic proof flashed into my mind None (NUN) shall stand before you (U) = NU. Also in the same way that Lurk, Withdraw etc. may suggest a process, I think "Divide, add, multiply and understand" or 'stand under' (note also sub-stance) refers to a similar process. Please also note, if you have not already done so then the sum of the numbers 1 to 31 = 496 a perfect number reducible to 10 and itself the numeration of Malkuth.
These little notes may interest you.
With every good wish.
Love is the law, love under will.
Yours as ever,
Achad.
