Correspondence from "Margery" to Aleister Crowley

Dear Sir,

The smallest possible dose of your Elixir of Youth would be appreciated by me. I can give you any references you may require and assure you that the desire has nothing to do with sexual difficulties. It is to try and help me pay back about £300 which I have incurred trying to become a first class Tennis Player.

I have not at the moment sufficient stamina to compete as I wish.

This is no less to me but my tutor, who has lost time and money on the transaction.

Yours truly

Margery ———
