You will probably have had an answer from Tunis with regard to a suggestion or claim that you are a 10º=1^o of A∴A∴

Here is another answer from another point of view.

1. I have never had the slightest cause to suppose anything of the sort, and the evidence that I do possess is altogether in another direction, which I have more than once hinted at, and which such a claim would make even more probable.

2. Obviously, I as 9º=2^o am ready to take orders from any 10º=1^o. It is clearly his business to furnish me with the same, their authority being naturally guaranteed as always, in the peculiar manner familiar to you. The receipt of any such orders would at once convince me of the [illegible] to the grade in question.

The above may be filed as my official reply.
