Mr. W. B. Seabrook,

246 West 59th Street,

New York, N. Y.

Dear Sir:

Professor Mudd [Norman Mudd], when he mentioned you as one of Aleister Crowley's best friends in America, gave me your address. I presume that he would not have done this if he believed that you would be annoyed by my writing to you.

I have never met Aleister Crowley, although I hope to so this summer. Indeed I know very little about him except for the few books which I have succeeded in picking up, but he interests me exceedingly.

Sometime early in April I expect to be in New York for a few days. Would it be possible to see you when I am there?

Sincerely yours,
