Correspondence from Aleister Crowley to Montgomery Evans
c/o Mr Gerard Aumont 16 avenue de Carthage Tunis
[August 26, 1924]
Dear 2nd
Do what thou wilt!
Don't pretend not to be surprised, but hurry back to Paris, and help Leah [Leah Hirsig] with prospectus planning. The big fight is started: you'd never forgive yourself if you weren't on the front line—stomach [illegible] stomach.
Excuse haste; but I'm tired. For more than a week there has always been an excuse for not sleeping: chief consolation—it has actually been a hell of a good one!
Ever
