We want to get Alostrael [Leah Hirsig] to join us, but our funds do not permit at present. We are very anxious about her health. Should Barron [William Barron] suggest escorting her here, it might be a good thing. If so, he should be warned to pay no attention to anything she says (you can judge this remark how bad I think her state is). . . .
Give my very special love to O.P.V. [Norman Mudd] and say how glad I am of his recovery as judged by the aura of his letter.
