Correspondence from Aleister Crowley to Karl Germer

[EXTRACT]

[circa November 1925]

I sent you letters for Public Prosecutor's re Tränker [Heinrich Tränker] two days ago. Rush this through: we can go for our money later. The chief thing is to cut short his career for crime. Note that your evidence—as translator between me and him is all important. Don't let your attitude "I hope (against hope) that I may have misunderstood" etc. etc. etc. stand in the way. Stick to the facts and jail him!
