Your wire just in. The concierge is forwarding the first of 3 parcels. (It is quite beyond the limits of my poor intelligence—e.g. a [illegible] postal has [illegible] art nor past in the Post Office intrigues—I can't describe them as transactions. I can't "Insure" the packages: I can only have a "Valeur declaie". There must be tarred paper, and special seals. It sounds like the [illegible] Book of Life!)

I enclose the latest note from the Amexco about the other things in storage. You being a man of business might be able to arrange this directly—as I suggested might be desirable. I think it would save us both trouble in the long run, if you could. In any case it might take months for the stuff to arrive—I know [illegible].

And what is F.P.A. ?????

Ask me rather to give a list of the Rings of Israel and Judah.
