Yours of 11th in today.

1. The preliminary part of our Work is now done: so we move to Marseille (Hotel du Petit Nice, Corniche) (Write c/o American Express Co Marseille.)

2. The idea is to look for a villa (Table d'hote and restaurant feeding is a great nuisance when Work becomes intense.) to get on with the next part of the Work. If we find it, they may want a lump sum for two or three months rent in advance; if so, it would be convenient if further cash were available. I have an a/c at Lloyd's Bank Marseille.

3. The enclosed letter might turn the scale in Heineman's mind. I'm going to modify the passage against Spiritualists. Two or three letters from U.S.A. make it plain that $10 is regarded as a sacrifice price. They don't mind paying for books over there! I don't see how Heineman's can prove or disprove anything about the Gods, though.

4. Very glad vampire is abated. You probably need a true magical partner. Incidentally, I've learnt lots about this matter myself since I last saw you.

5. Will go into list of books when you arrive. There are several points to be discussed verbatim.

6. Liber Aleph. You might offer this to Rider?

7. Mrs Evans. She would do well to come to see me. We might find a modus vivendi of great use to the Work.

8. I shouldn't distribute typescripts with any other object than that of getting help (of one sort or another) towards the printing thereof.

9. Can't think of any books specially wasted here.

10. Will expect you July 13. Will keep you advised of any change of address, and have a room for you.

Fraternally,
