They [qliphoth] represent any discarded or outworn ideas. They represent vestiges of a previous state of being that hinder us in our present state. Just as the poor relations of the profiteer are liable to interfere with his social success. When we allow ourselves to be obsessed by Qliphotic conceptions we definitely retrogress and this process may be fatal in very much the same was as the normal process of metabolism in the human body is destroyed by the access of another process which is similarly a process of growth and decay, but of a more primitive type, such as cancer..
