     Dear Louis

So glad of your card. Look you, I am planning a week or ten days holiday; would like to be within range of you. Holidays are such a bore when there is no one ever about that can talk. Is there any place you know not too frightfully dear? I should want to start 18th or 19th inst. I’m completely neurasthenic at present: just funk even answering my mail or going a walk in the sunshine. I’ve just got to get away or crash. Your p.c. [post card] gave me the needed stimulus to begin to take measures.

     Yours Aleister
