Dear 516.

93.

Yours of Sep 4—so thoughtfully incoherent that I feel sure you must be very well.

Gabriel [Gabriel Dee] is an ass. She tried to fool me about her age—and gave me faked details to support her story. No, Mother, if that daughter of yours is less than 30 I'll eat my turban—so I'll have indigestion if you're only 41!

Moonchild is only—"The Net."

Yes, I'm pretty well; but my wife [Maria de Miramar] has had a terrible time with doctors and the dentist. She's pulling round nicely now; but there's still a nurse on the job.

Tell Smith [Wilfred Talbot Smith] to write me—and to renew his efforts. We'll be broke—bar miracles—till Xmas.

Must go now to walk in the Park.

Send you the Word [of the Equinox] to-morrow.

93     93/93.

Fraternally,

666.
