Correspondence from Aleister Crowley to Karl Germer
Ivy Cottage, Knockholt, Kent.
November 7th, 1929.
Care Frater Saturnus [Karl Germer]:
Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.
I am enclosing you a letter from Leipzig. You may be able to find out something of this Hilarion stuff through Birven [Henri Birven]. I always understood that Hilarion was apocryphal.
Marie [Maria de Miramar] got a good deal worse and started fainting fits and things, so I sent her to a nursing home in Seven Oaks where 24 hours rest worked wonders. I hope she will be back here in a couple of days.
Everything is going on splendidly here, except that the binder is very late delivering the bulk of volume 1 [of The Confessions of Aleister Crowley].
The lost tribe is now in Zion—which is a great comfort to all concerned. He [Israel Regardie] saw the Home Office yesterday and it appears that there will be no difficulty at all about his citizenship. The next thing is to get Astarte to Blighty.
Do let me have your news. Give my love to Cora [Cora Eaton]. Her letter to Marie came this morning, and I will deliver it this afternoon.
Love is the law, love under will.
Yours fraternally.
666 / ir [Israel Regardie]
