Sir Alistair Crowley

Ivy Cottage, Knockholt, Kent.

Dear Sir,

We are in receipt of you letter of the 7th inst.

In reply to your enquiry, the three sketches in question are on bristol in crayons, all different colours.

One is signed Lĕoń Jourdain (this letter being rather indistinct); one is not signed at all, and the third is dedicated by yourself to a black lady, with a very long name.

We await your instructions, but the sketches cannot be sent to England.

Yours very truly,

Joint Managing Director
