Sir,

We are surprised to learn from your letter of yesterday's date that no fashion plate was found with the samples we sent you, as we certainly thought it was enclosed. However, we have pleasure in enclosing one herewith.

We note your remarks regarding the settlement of our bill. Without wishing to be in any way unreasonable of troublesome to you, we shall be glad if you will kindly arrange this matter at your early convenience, and for this we thank you in advance.

We are, Sir,

Your obedient servants,

Henry Poole & Co.
