Dear A.C.

Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.

Forgive my delay in writing; if I hadn't been too busy, I would have been too ill to write, and tell you how interested I was by what you said. If I can get Miss Watts and her car again, can I come over and see you? Knockholt is otherwise unapproachable from here.

And in case you or I cannot manage that, will you come to Oxford next term and speak at the Poetry Society on whatever subject you like, preferably in connexion with poetry? If you feel like it, I will send you details of dates etc.

Love is the law, love under will.

Arthur Calder-Marshall
