Gentlemen:
With reference to yours of the 3rd instant, I beg to advise that at the moment Mr. Crowley is engaged in buying out one of the partners in his publishing business, and cannot get a cheque from it until the inevitable legal documents are signed—which, it is hoped—will be during the next week or ten days.
As soon as this is done, I shall immediately lay the contents of your letter before Mr. Crowley for attention.
