Correspondence from Henry Poole & Co. to Aleister Crowley
Henry Poole & Co. Court Civil & Military Tailors Nos. 37, 38, 39 Saville Row, London, W.1.
E. Alexander Crowley, Esq., Ivy Cottage, Knockholt, Kent.
13th March 1930
Sir,
On the 24th February last we were informed that you were then in town and that we might expect to receive payment of the sum of £17 in which you are indebted to us within the week.
Frankly, we are much dissatisfied that we should still be without payment of this amount and that we should have been put off so much. Therefore we are now compelled to inform you that we are quite unable to consent to any further delay, but must respectfully insist upon your giving us satisfaction within one week from this present date.
We are, Sir,
Your obedient servants,
Henry Poole & Co.
