Correspondence from Aleister Crowley to Karl Germer
[EXTRACT]
[Oddenino's Hotel, Regent Street, London.]
[circa April 1930]
May go to Berlin, and on to Moscow if certain things materialize. The Legend of Aleister Crowley has gone to press. You'll have galleys about Wednesday. Make arrangements with Birven [Henri Birven] for a German edition—to add German cuttings such as "Der Lord als Cagliostro." (Danke Schoen!)
P.S. [on envelope]: Oxford University threatened anyone who attended my lecture with expulsion!! Now we've got 'em!
