Tell Adler [Alfred Adler] we'll pay him real money—a whole hill of it—for a psychoanalytic study of the ex-Kaiser; to show how his "individual-psychology-conditions-synthesis" made and lost the war etc. This is my private idea, by the way, and must be treated as confidential; that is, if he rejects the offer, he is pledged to silence.
